\nWhile looking for our hotel, we stumbled upon this small sandwich shop \/ bakery, where we had really delicious pasta with pesto. It’s called “Happy Pizza” and you can find them on TripAdvisor<\/a>.

<\/a><\/li>\n\nLocated in\u00a0Piazza San Marco, the caffe looks and feels like you are in year 1720 when they opened doors for the first time. There is live piano and violin music just outside the caffe and many people just stop for a while to listen.
\nMy personal opinion is that the caffe is a bit pricy as I paid\u00a0\u20ac10 for a latte, but I guess only\u00a0\u20ac2 were of the drink and everything else is for the experience. It was worth it!

<\/a><\/li>\n\nCloser to Piazza San Marco you can find one not-so-small shop from the Venchi chain where they sell amazing ice cream and some delicious chocolate. The first time we encountered the Venchi brand we were in Rome where they have a wall of melting chocolate. Really interesting thing to see with your own eyes.

<\/a> <\/a><\/li>\n\nI am not sure how we bumped into this one, but after a long walk my legs needed to rest. Just behind the stands of post cards and photos we found this small friendly place where we stopped for about an hour enjoying the sun and a bottle of beer with a glass of prosecco.

<\/a> <\/a><\/li>\n\nPizza, Coffee, Tea… What more can I say? Really nice place with very friendly staff!

<\/a> <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\nI am sure we haven’t seen all, if not most, of the delicious small places where you can find great Italian food but unfortunately being here for such a short amount of time we can only see that many. To be honest, we liked the take-away food from Happy Pizza so much that we have returned there 3 times in 2 days already.<\/p>\n
