Elan Cafe<\/a>. Instagram is full of them (photos and people both). All photos look great and makes you want to visit the place. So we have added it to our roadmap.<\/p>\nHard to get<\/h4>\n
We have tried to get into Elan Cafe on “Park Lane” few times, spread across 4-5 weeks. Every time we went there the place was crowded and there was a huge queue outside. We even waited for 30 min once, hoping the queue will clear quick. It didn’t. But I guess that’s normal. If you wait for 1+ hours outside, when you get a table you will definitely not rush to leave.<\/p>\n
Finally! We are in!<\/h4>\n
After being unsuccessful with “Park Lane” few times, we decided to try Elan Cafe on “Brompton Road”. We actually succeeded on the second attempt (two weeks after the first one).<\/p>\n
When you actually walk thru the door the first impression is “WOW! That place is nice.”. But then you start looking around and start seeing the other side too.<\/p>\n
Tables are so close to each other that if you want to stand off the chair you have to ask the table next to you to move a little bit so you can squeeze out. Very disturbing!<\/p>\n
I was expecting Elan Cafe to be more… something. I turned out to be full of teenagers taking selfies and tagging themselves on facebook. Because of them, it was very nosy.<\/p>\n
Food<\/h4>\n
Maybe because we went there over the weekend most of the food was gone. I don’t understand why a coffee place will use the weekend as excuse not to supply more food, but hey, that’s my opinion.<\/p>\n
I have ordered an omelette which turns out to be pretty good so I tried to enjoy it as much as I can, knowing that I will probably not go back anymore ever again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
